It's a good company to start your journey with but they communicate less and there hiring process is very dull and lame. They hire you a year before and ask you to join after a year or year and half later

Ad-Hoc work and heavy work pressure

No timeliness can be defined by developers. Only with the leadership teams. No long term goal. No work life balance. Work stress. Strict timeliness. Very tough to get the charging/billable codes for new joiners or in new projects. No budgets.

No Red tapism, very easy to collaborate

EY is a very good place to start and sustain in your career. One can gain a lot of skillset by collaborating with the people, lot of learning option is available, Compensation is very good.

Productive, nice workplace

Good projects, there are ample of things to learn. Sometimes work can be monotonous too. Colleagues are helpful. Good yearly growth & hike. Limited growth in domain, might need to stick work on Tax, Audit, Consultancy domain more

Fast Paced, no work life balance

Can get overwhelming during the busy season. But if you have a good team, it can ease things. Can work from home. Nobody questions anything as long as you get the work done.

Stressful and Demotivating

There are lots of operational challenges in EY GDS. They don’t invest on talent, hr, Lnd teams. It’s all given to the managers. All the communication happens in numbers and the leadership put lot of pressure on the people to get their numbers. Well being is last concern as you can’t get increments by showing my team is having good balance. Ey has lots of initiatives, that help them sell on social media.. but due to constant stress people rarely gets benefits out of these.

Good campany to work for

Very nice company to work with. Sometimes work load will be high which is likely in big four companies . You can enjoy lot of leaves in november and December months.

Good to work in EY one of the Big four firm, growth wise takes time to move from one band to another irrespective of performance, you might have get transportation assistance if you work beyond 8 pm other benefits remains the same.

Overall you can grow in EY without much additional degrees note its EY GDS and not EY India, You need to manage your personal life with office work sometimes you need to work more than 12 hours
