Company is good but because of local politics work culture is spoiled
Staff (Former Employee) - Trivandrum, Kerala - February 3, 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI worked in EY TRIVANDRUM.Ey is a good company with a good work life balance, but if you are working in Tier 2 cities in EY GDS, work culture is not that great, especially in Kerala offices ,if you don't speak their local language they consider you as a outsider ,lot of partiallity happens in promotion, hikes .Inclusiveness is missing in Kerala offices( because of this i left the organisation)but if you are working on Tier 1 cities it would be good.Regarding the technical knowledge ,seniors don't really know anything,we have to take architectural design there is no one guide us and Technical growth will be less.Interms of job security i have seen many people working here for more than 10 years,it is safe . work life balance it has less pressure compare to other service based companies.quality of work is very bad.
Pros
Good work life balance
Cons
Groupism based on language. Bad Work culture. No Technical growth.

Review of work
Senior Associate (Former Employee) - Trivandrum, Kerala - June 20, 2020
Better to be in Service line supporting teams. There are many small teams in EY. It's better to join higher and established teams in EY. Check about the team before confirming the offer

Great exposure to work across multiple industries and sectors.
Opportunity to work with senior management with amazing experience and profiles.
The hardest part of the job could be work life balance since the team I am part of works for clients based out of multiple time zones (APAC to US).
