Job security
Senior Consultant (Former Employee) - Noida and Gurugram - April 16, 2023
Now a days we are afraid of job loss because there is a culture which is growing rapidly that your job is safe till the time you are billable, if not then they will kick you. Management doesn't care about your experience and past performance and good work. So job safety is not there. Also no work-life balance. They will assign you any kind of project whether it's belongs to your expertise area or not it will not matter. You have to do if you want your job will be safe. Please avoid to join this type of job if you have responsibilities of your family.
Pros
Only Building and show off banners, its like naam badey or darshan chotey
Cons
No job safety, no work life balance, no recognition, work alignment is not according to your experience

Very good place and very supportive people
Credit Risk Analyst (Current Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - April 11, 2023
EY GDS is a great organization for starters. There is a balance of work life if you are a Keralite. EYGDS is a good place to settle if you don’t want very less of client travels. There are work from home options/flexi timings depending on your team. Cab facility is available and there is an opportunity to work with big teams internationally. Learning & Development is also provided

Not suggest able to an Fresher
Indirect Taxation (Former Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - April 11, 2023
Indirect tax in EY is horrible seniors here are not supportive and use harsh words on freshers and always discouraging freshers. There’s no appreciation when there’s good work but mistakes will be shown like a big offence.

A great culture of learning and teaming
Senior Consultant (Former Employee) - Delhi, India - March 22, 2023
EY is a great place to work. If you like problem solving, strategy and get excited to be a life long student, you would love EY. There is implicit culture of teaming and respect that helps employees to grow themselves.
Pros
Focus on employee learning and development
Cons
Less flexible on internal employee transfer

Great place to work
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) - Bengaluru - March 21, 2023
The company offers great flexibility in working hours. The management is supportive and often approach employees with an inclusive culture. The salary structure is lucrative however, one should have good negotiation skills for a fairer pay.

Its not a super fun or super cultured place to work now. Its a history if you have heard it
Senior Leadership (Current Employee) - Bangalore - March 14, 2023
Now GDS is a strict military school. If you are not at work 2 days a week, 9 hours per day you are sacked. Where are the culture and the ethics disappeared? Among the 4 big consulting organizations, none have this policy. Zero carbon emission is on books and celebrations but are we really celebrating it?? Absolutely not. We are not practicing what we had preached earlier and its sad to see where we are heading now. Its a way of reducing headcount forcefully by 20% since the organization does not want to give pink slips.
Pros
History
Cons
Working culture

Fast pace and little support
Trainee (Former Employee) - Bitexcal - March 14, 2023
It's required to be active and great pressure adaptability due to the fast pace of the work. Didnt get much support and you have to prepare your own personal cumputer and phone to work.
