First Academy Management reviews

Over work and under paid. I enjoyed/loved my job while working at First Academy. However, the pay was not that great, no Heath Insurance, paid time off doesn’t rollover. You cannot accumulate more than 40 hrs. Management would do their best to work around doctor appointments or what not with proper notice. I liked the 4 10hr shifts as well.

Pay is trash. The turn over rate is kind of high. Some people end up with more responsibilities than they have experience for. Management was pretty great. Very flexible and understanding. The facilities are nice.

Awful place to work, ridiculously low wages, stupidly long hours, expected to work weekends, short lunch breaks.There is no career progression. Avoid this place at all costs!

The owners are good people but the management staff are not. Poor management of human resources. Do not take care of employees and are not concerned about the well-being of their staff.

Productive and fun workplace

A typical day at work would start at 9 finish at 4:30, as repetitive as this got , I learnt a lot there. I've gained the ability to take control of situations in the best of ways possible , when teaching, communication skills were very important , as I was around different children everyday. The management at first academy are a few proffetionals who clearly know what they're doing , they've had the school running for the past 4 years now. The most enjoyable part of the job was the fact that I got to learn something new everyday , weather it's from the children or my co-workers.

I have mostly worked in child care. I am open to expand to other jobs though. A typical day at work consists of, managing payments, cleaning, educating, and communicating with children, staff, and parents. I have learned mostly how to communicate effectively. Co-workers and management are consistent. The hardest part of my job is when children have behavioral issues. The mot enjoyable part of my day is the love that is shared through out the entire day.
