GE Appliances was the first company I have ever worked for. I had a great time working there and have learned a lot of skills that I would inculcate in my career. The work life balance was great and the organization cared for it's employees. The management made sure every employee's voice is heard at all times and valued suggestions and feedback from all levels. The culture was very admirable, as were the people.

A place where one would love to go and work everyday. Lot of experienced folks around and learning shoes will always be on. Great work/life balance with some flexibility. Global leadership is amazing, but might have some issues with leadership in India as they look too biased time and often.

Productive and fun place to work

The work timings are very flexible and the closing of work may extend late at night. The co-workers are very helpful especially if you are struck at something and cannot proceed. Management people are okay but very political in nature. The enjoyable part during the work is fun and parties most of the days in a week.
