Nice place to settle

GE has good employee culture and great work life balance. However the growth here is rather slow in terms of pay and compensation. Opportunity to learn is also quite limited, so recommended if person wants to settle, not so much for early career people

Fun workplace

I like to work here because all work is comes under safety and standard. I learnt MIG welding and it defects with symbolic standards and welding joints.It has great managers to help us for career growth and also give opportunity to attend any Competition. In GE, very hard to permanent fresher employees.I like to participate in cultural activities mostly in dancing and also I dance two times in GE. But My one passion missed to show in GE and that was my big passion.

Promotions& Appraisals in the Organization happens on perception by the management. Merit & Feedback is not the sole criterion. Management is totally not aware of actual work. Outdated technology and huge layoffs of people just based on perception . No empathy and only lip service
