Typical Indian pharma

Joined GSK with huge expectation only to end up with huge disappointment.-Office politics - baised managers- no work life balance (you will have to login late at night to attend project related meetings)-no clear HR policies. You will have to fight to get few reimbursements done -no clear SOPs of technical porcesses as well - you will end up chasing people to get simple information that could have been shared on simple SOP- single digit increment even for top performer- management not open for suggestions- management constently keeps changing the directions- a lot of people are not properly trained and doesn't understand how company works- no pickup and drop- sub standard food quality in cafeteria - laborious process of timesheet

Slow paced culture and Missing Accountability made it more like Govt Culture than Target oriented organization. Multiple failures not questioned if done by White skined but will be questioned if Ethnic Non white skinned . In other words performance is not a criterion to survive there but your good relationship and Yes culture is critical.
