HSBC encourages to experiment, change roles and grow. A good culture and best part is the work life balance it offers.
Can be part of the multiple project which help individuals evolve.

The management of Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance Company is very supportive and being part of the Company I was given great learning opportunities.
Both Indian side of company and the management is laid back with regard to the employee's increments in knowledge and their motivation to grow further. it isn't surprising people stayed for more than 8 years on the same role or same department.

laid back attitude for both employees and management; poor in technology
HSBC scales growth in the term of connecting customers to opportunities, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.
Though work culture is god at HSBC, due to long distance travelling had to quit.

HSBC brings its own suite of challenges on a daily basis for its employees and specially finance professionals, with ever increasing list of stat and regulatory requirement, but it's hard to feel monotonous in HSBC with their exciting job profiles and independent challenges thrown out to employees.
The technical learning available in the organisation is vast and I have personally seen multiple people completely changing their professional lives in a matter of 2-3 years.
I would call HSBC a gold mine of nurturing talent and shaping the career of individuals.
