I have been working for around 5 years.It's decent place, offices are decent Pay scale vary to much employee to employees, freshers are hired at low payscale generally from normal colleges. For tier 1 college they pay good. But if you come after switch then chances you get good compensation. Many things depends on which project you are in.

No good increment and projects

HCL is slow in terms of increment and raise. You will have to beg to get increment here or put your papers. They will not listen to you ever.Ratings are given randomly and even if you are good worker, even then chances of getting good ratings are very low.

Client orineneted policies and not employee oriented

Managers will be more focused on satisfying the client and will not be worried what employee has to go through to meet the target. Even after neeting the target you will not be getting any appreciation and the sme will be highlighted in your review daying that you could have done better 😉 Only 18 Paid leaves and you have to stay in HCL for 1 year and 3 months to get your annual variable to be paid back.If you are being recruited for Verizon project then stay away from it . You are about to take a bite which can make your life worse. In VZ is so demanding and HCL managers goal is to make that happen so no work life balance

Not recommended.Monthly variable pay is reduced recently. Annual variable is paid 90%Project might be good or bad but if you are on bench, then there is a chance you might be asked to leave. That is on you are allowed to be on bench only for 90 days but 91st day will be your last working day
