IBM is good organization no doubt. Unlimited sick leave. Sometime you may feel office politics but overall it's good.Work life balance depends on project.Yearly salary hike is very less, bonus is also bad.

Not good for tech ppl

Grave yard shifts with extreme work pressure.BPO job there is no growth only the training period is good nothing apart from that.Major work includes password resets

Good wlb but poor work culture in total

Not so motivating work culture. Peers are friendly but learning work etc will depend on kind of project. Compensation is similar to service companies. Hikes are less. Work life balance is good. Flexibility is largely good but depends on projects.

Slow Workplace

Everything moves very slow and work can be done in 2 or 3 months. Everything goes through 6-7 different levels of approvals. Felt like a sloth every time I was working.

Decent company

Managers can put you in PIP if you don't impress them. Your manager is only your HR so be careful. Rules and regulations could change anytime, if you get better opportunity then just leave else stay

Work life balance, job safety

Hike is less like 4-5%, projects are not that good here. Work life balance and job security is there. Unlimited sick leaves. And many benefits. They give fixed salary and no variable

It's fun to work with collogues and daily learning new things good environment .

Good supportive mangement and good growth if u really work hard and use your skills. Some time we needs to work on stress due to management requirements.

Not safe these days

All projects will be small duration, most of the time the employee will be in BENCH and its not safe at all, this company was best before for Job security, now a days it is not what it was.

Pros

Many Project changes, chance to learn new technologies

Cons

Bench, not safe to be in Bench, all are mini projects, not safe. 3 days office travel is a pain if you stay far.

What is the best part of working at the company?Work from home, Less work, coz of more processes. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Non practical policies ex. 100% utilisation, identify some code reuse from ibm code repository, launching coding competitions to all ibmers and finally forced to declare winners from within the same project ; managers and leads with no technical understanding ; pressure from management to manipulate like showing fake code reuse,, denial of our leaves arguing abt utilisation. This s abt one project I worked on , there were other good projects and good managers What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Depends on project you are in and your lead and managerWhat is a typical day like for you at the company?Do some minimum work ,, try to socialise and keep good company with others and managers.
