Reviews about Pay & Benefits for Data Entry Clerk in Indeed
Treat Contractors Terribly
I don't know how you are treated as a full Indeed employee, but contractors are treated very poorly. The pay is low, you get no sick days, no paid personal days, no benefits, and if you attend company events that are part of how they sell the job, you don't get paid for those hours. The commute was absurdly long for a job that 100% could have been remote. The Lyft stipend didn't even cover 50% of the computer expenses. Managers often hold your job over you with threats like "we can replace you with a computer tomorrow." Managers will also hold information from some contractors so they work slower or on less favorable projects depending on who is the favorite. "Bonuses" for working better are never better pay or days off, only meaningless things like "indeed swag bags." Do not work here as a contractor, it is just insulting.

Poor pay, no sick days, no benefits, no personal paid time off, no pay to attend company events, often treats of replacement from managers, critical information with held for personal reasons
