It provides a good exposure but with no job security. It is govt. Institute which helps in providing job on project basis. I joined as a SRF. You may get good salary at a start but one should take experience and move for job stability instead of staying here.

Job Responsibilities • Research and Hands on experience in formulating new healthier baked products and analysis of chemical composition and its nutrition content. • Assisted in providing scientific and nutritional support to various cross functions like product development, regulatory, and commercializing the new healthier products. • Knowledge of vendor management to establish Bakery unit with necessary baking equipment (bakery oven, dough kneader, proofer, cookies drop machine) at project site to empower farm women • Expertise on providing trainings to farm women on making of baking products for women empowerment. • Training on Nutritional awareness programmes and food diversification was also provided to improve nutritional status of women in farm.

I learned many techniques like chromatography (GC,HPLC,TLC), Soxhlet, jeltek analyzer, NMR, NIR ,seed germination, seed sowing harvesting, seed coating, seed pelleting, seed priming and many other techniques.
