* work pattern is research based approach
* working time flexibility, but only one day leave a week (sunday)
* internal work relations not so professional
* If your PI is supportive then lot of things to learn and experiment in lab for research
i learned so many things here and they will encourage us also i find so many difficulties at first after that they explained all those things about drawing and reinforcement and now i am happy to say that i improved here alot
Its a company you love to work with. Great work, great learning. You have great mentors to guide you. Best part is their open door policy. Would love to mention few lovely people I worked with. Head : Friendly, you can go and discuss anything with him. He is more a friend to you. He keeps motivating you to up skill you skill sets. You are pushed to give certifications but with proper guidance.

I have been working as a Development Engineer in XcelLance Medical Technologies It has a very good product line people and overall environment is good.
We are a team of two working on a startup to create stealth analysis software for defense.We handled two projects from the Indian defense and delivered prior to the schedule.I learnt a lot about product development, tweaking the software to suit client requirements, resource management.

Presently I am working at National Wind Tunnel Facility department of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
I have been responsible for Mechanical design and integration for various models to be tested at the facility.
• Conducting researches, using various models to work out new developments and innovations and prove them to be cost – effective.
• Designing the research ideas to physics execution using various software like CAD/ CAE.
• Implementing those designs and testing the final outcome.
• In-case of any faults, reworking on the designs and implementing them.
• Testing and re-testing the designs for the perfect and flawless outcome.
• Creating reports and presentation on a regular basis for senior Scientists and clients.
• 3-D Modeling of the various models to be tested at Wind tunnel using CAD software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD. This involves 3D model of solid component, surface modeling, Assembly of all the components and drafting for the release of manufacturing or fabrication drawings.
• Finite element analyses of various metallic and composite material models in terms of static and dynamic analyses using FEM packages(Ansys and Abaqus).
• Generation of Design report is also part of my responsibility. After its validation then only any projects wind tunnel testing goes for execution.
• Wind tunnel testing for various Aerospace and Automobile projects which requires basic knowledge of lab view software for data Acquisition and analyses .
