It was a great chilled environment, with fulfilling work and exposure to ample technical as well as interpersonal skills during the internship. Though the internship was conceived to be unpaid, I did receive rewarding compensation for my work as a token.

A Productive but stress free environment

IIT is a good place to learn and explore new subjects and opportunities. Its a competitive and productive yet comfortable and stress free job. The job and life balance is awesome except for the salary, which is lesser than the living cost near IIT.

Good experience as the equipments are of superior quality. The professors and Ph.D scholars are very friendly and supportive. In a nutshell, a good place to see the ongoing research taking place.

TAship at IIT Madras is fun. Also, comes with a generous allowance. Workload is decent. About 8 hours a week. Some courses may have extra work such as making slides etc.
