Not fair chance for contractual employees, low salary , if you're got on payroll job then it is recommended unless you're there is no future. Company environment is good

No job security, highly managment driven without employee friendly HR Policies & process. Bad work culture

Their business model is very much prone to frequent uncertainties, frequent change of people. They fire people within hours. This has gone into their culture. Still, they win Employee of the year award...surprised Working here will be not like a MNC. No career growth Business is not growing consistently. They work on miniature cost reductions which is not at all expected from MNC. Firing people is a part of their cost reduction drive

Pros

Better Salary compared to Market

Cons

No Job security. job advancement opportunity, business not growing consistently

Good place for work life balance. Equal opportunity for Freshers.

Ingersoll Rand is known for its work life balance. Culture is aligned to USA. There are enough opportunities for Freshers to learn and grow within the organisation. Major setback is salary.

Excellent Company to work with

Highly professional Company, Ingersoll Rand is a very good company taking care of employees requirements and in turn getting more than requisite production/productivity and out put.

Pros

leadership team /working conditions great

Leadership has been forced to make many hard decisions because of the downturn in the oil and gas industries. For the most part they have been a good company to work for as far as offering opportunities for advancement however the compensation packages they are offering are only about 75% to 80% of what your skills are really worth in other industries. The last two years have been difficult for everyone. > 50% of the workforce at our manufacturing plant in WA had to be let go, some involuntarily. It has not been a fun place to work for the last couple of years, which was the major contributor for me to make the choice to move to another industry. It was not easy to leave - the people were great.

Pros

Leadership truly cared about their people but were limited due to the poor market conditions.

Cons

difficult industry to be working in at the moment, Too many highs and too many lows to try and bring consistency with work/life priorities.

Good possiblity for growth

Good part is the management understands the employee's character and are very supportive when required. Fun time is minimum but the time spend together with the colleagues are memorable, worth keep in our dairies. Numbers do matter when it comes to talk about business, which should be met as MNC to maintain the market and customer values.

Pros

Free snacks

Cons

Salary provided suffices the pay roll employees, worth working for long hours
