Productivity
Executive Director - Finance (Former Employee) - Delhi, Delhi - September 10, 2022
Good productivity , but needs to improve to complete the projects in time. The job culture for Finance Professionals are not very good. At top many non Finance or non professionals are sitting. So, IRAS officers have more control. Needs more professionals at top.
Pros
Location of postings are not bad
Cons
Too much favouritism for Indian Railway Officials and have favouritism

Rotten Top Management
A company with Devils at the top. Highly regressive, unfriendly and anti-employee policies. No focus on employee welfare. No long term perspective of Management as all top bosses come on deputation from Railways and use the place to comfortably park themselves with no real concern for cadres or the Company as their loyalties are elsewhere. The divide between railway and non railway employees is wide and clear. Lot of ad hocism, red tapism and whimsical policies that frustrate an employee. A Company which recruits by befooling people and therefore, has a high attrition rate. No desire or concern to improve anything. Avoid it like a plague at all costs.
Pros
Plenty of Holidays that's about it.
Cons
Everything else, Bad policies, Nothing as Employee Welfare, Eccentric CMD

Civil Engineer (Former Employee) - Kashmir - January 3, 2018
In this company I learned how to comumicate with the works and the management.
I learnt how to use the design softwares
Project planning was the most important thing that i learnt from this company.
The hard part of the job was to maintain the standards of the company that were set really high.
Most enjoyable part was you were appreciated on every little thing you did to keep the standards high.

Productive & having much more scope for growth and job satisfaction.
Senior Assistant (A/cs & Estt.) (Former Employee) - New Delhi, DL - August 16, 2013
In IRCON, my service was on Contract basis which was extended from time to time. my services were not regularized for the reason best known to the, then, Management. I took VRS after completing 12 years of my services for personal reasons. Hardest part of the job - it was transferable job, according to project places. Most enjoyable part - I travelled, worked and visited many places right from Shahdol, Katni, Satna (MP), Bilaspur to Patna (Bihar), Varanasi, Allahabad (UP), New Delhi and many more.
Pros
Govt. Pay scales plus other perks.
Cons
Tranferable job.
