My day-to-day job is to ensure productivity of the goods alongwith maintaining the quality as per ITC norms
Team building has to be a strong feature to drive the working personnel. Quality is the prime focus before productivity to match customer's satisfaction. The best part is you can take a lot of learnings in terms of production, quality, utility, safety. Co-workers and senior management is friendly.
Foods division has no future aspect of executive level. Growth rate is very slow and depending upon managers mood. No clarity on future and promotions.
I worked around 7 years in this company. ITC recruitment and promotion based on qualifications based only. There is no value of knowledge and experience in this company.
Immatured IIT students runs this company
Poor work life balance and unfair appraisal system
ITC food is a expanding division. It has good learning opportunities for all. I observed that too much people leaving company both in higher n middle level due to poor managers n poor life balance in the job. Company never promote lower qualified people to higher level even after good experience on job. They always recruits IIT freshers on higher position who have less practical approach n immature attitude. Salary hike is very much low for old employees, new people join with higher package for the same position. Anyway company is best in private sector.
Good learning opportunities, Free transportation
Higher position filled by freshers IIT students, Qualifications matters for promotion not knowledge, Salary slab is uneven in the same rank.
Quite good and provides a healthy work environment. Developing Production skills Average Quite friendly as well as cooperative. There is no such hardships Interacting with different people, and each day a new learning.
Working hours are long due to shortage of manpower with equal workload distribution. HR activities keeps employees busy in training & Project activities Participation in active activities are always advised Balance between Knowledge,Skills & Attitude is what one of the key learning aspect of Job Most interesting part is to interact with Employees, Providing Training on quality Improvement. Preparing ISO ,OSHSAS, HACCP documentation & Implimentation is the hardest job.
I learned How to handle shift, worker and higher management my co workers are very friendly and helpful Higher production during breakdown and critical position by planning. Most enjoyable part is I can import inovative thing for company's growth.Hard work
Don't want to share at this stage: • Increased the chakki load thereby increasing the overall production of the plant. • Expertise in Market complaints handling.
Good start for a fresher from the learning and salary prospective.
Always more than 8 & majorly 12 working hours without any leave (excluding weekly OFF)
