Great experience

Its a wonderful organization with ample of opportunities.Work is challenging with enough support from the management. Some of the processes are slow .But still its a great place to work.

Nice Ambience and decent hikes

It was a very good place to work with before change in management. Just after change in management, it has become little difficult as there is lot favoritism and discrimination that goes in.

Big investment bank to work in - Manager needs additional training

It's a big investment bank worldwide and the Mumbai office has a newly opened space which is magnanimous and lives up to the hype.Pros: 1) Great learning curve for professionals - scope of work is vast and aids to develop expertise over a period of time. 2) Compensation is at par or even more than the market standard - JPMorgan pays its employees well, be it in terms of salary, hike or bonus. 3) Higher management knows what their doing - they are experts in their field and take time to connect and mentor young professionals willingly, which speaks volumes of the bank culture.Cons:1) Manager of the team propagates micro-management which hampers the overall team spirit. Technical skills also need to be re-evaluated - clueless most times. 2) Team culture isn't great either (terrible) - mostly because it percolates down from the top.Just pizza parties, quiz sessions won't dissipate employee dissatisfaction - for long term retention of employees, team culture needs to be revamped asap.

Depends on role and team

Not very good, monotonous in nature, growth varies from team to team. Organizational culture is good but eventually everything is dependent on team. Micromanagement can be an issue.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Culture is bit toxic here. you have to be in good books of managers. work culture is relaxed though.so that is positive side. but growth is not good. so you can join for few years

Pot lucks and Traditional dress code was awesome

Enjoyed working with the firm for 8.5 years with lots of ups and downs. I will every cherish the moments with my colleagues with whom I worked.People were very helping. I will not forget the culture at JP Morgan.
