Good learning and exposure. Most of the times you have to extend beyond your working hours.
Research Manager (Current Employee) - Kolkata, West Bengal - August 25, 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedAlthough you can learn a lot and your manager and team member will help you to go through the learning curve. But politics and extension beyond working hours is a norm. You have to work on weekends also sometime. You will get very good exposure here. Reworking is an issue and can be monotonous sometimes. Toxic work culture.

Fun work place
Data Processing and Scripting (Current Employee) - Pune, Maharashtra - August 31, 2023
Basically work wise it is good company to work with. But if you have huge aspirations of working in IT Sector it is not for you. As this is completely new world of Marketing research. Working environment is very good. They many sports activities for people engagement best example is Kantar Premier League. 2-3 Outing in a year and occupational lunches and dinners
Pros
Occasional lunches and dinners, outings sports events like KPL
Cons
Less base salary

Terrible Management but lots to learn
Research Manager (Former Employee) - Mumbai - June 14, 2023
If you are someone who constantly wants to learn, good because you will. But there's no work-life balance at least not in the team I was in. My direct manager was terrible, 3 months into joining, we had hardly chatted. She had belittled me when I decided to work from home one day. Everything depended on her mood & I hated it.
Pros
No such benefits, subsidized cafeteria prices, no special discounts. Just a yearly 15k benefit for purchasing WFH stuff.
Cons
Terrible management, you will have to figure out things on your own. My manager was terrible but my teammates were nice, so I could reach out to them for help. But yeah, nothing great.

A good learning place with not so great work life balance
Account Manager (Former Employee) - Mumbai Central, Mumbai, Maharashtra - November 16, 2022
It's a good place to learn within the market research domain but it becomes really difficult to have a work life balance across most of the teams. Salary benefits are okay but most of the people are burned out after a point of time.
Pros
Learning
Cons
Lack of proper work life balance

Helpful peers but no work life balance
Associate Director (Former Employee) - Gurgaon, Haryana - October 12, 2022
Need to improve on work life balance. Need to find a way to co-ordinate better with teams sitting across the world. Some people end up working from 9 am to 2 am because of people sitting across the world

A process driven company
Senior Manager Training and Process Compliance (Former Employee) - Pune - September 14, 2022
This organization allows employees to grow. Ethics and values are integral part of this organization. People and process driven company. This company has good appraisal and performance review mechanisms with variable pay systems. Also also good HR support to cater employee needs. Training needs are addressed on key essential areas by setting a yearly training calender. Seniors are suppoting employees in terms of day to day requirments and make them work at ease.
Pros
throws up more challeges
Cons
more quantum of work

Good learning. Horrible work hours and work load.
Research Associate (Former Employee) - Mumbai - July 25, 2022
Promise too much to clients. Lots of work and few employees to service it. Comparatively low pay to other marketing roles ( eg. brand management ) and for the amount of output expected from employee. Good learning. Supporting team members. Overall depends on person, how they perceive it.
Pros
Motivating team members.
Cons
Overwork. Working on weekends. Comparatively low pay.

Culture
Account Manager (Former Employee) - Kolkata, West Bengal - June 26, 2022
This is a local brand for Kolkata, people are good but culture for me can be far better. You may have to work till 4am in the morning. So think before you join.

overall good company with good pay benefits and good for fresher to explore new opportunities.
data processing analyst (Former Employee) - Hyderabad, Telangana - April 11, 2022
Recommended for a fresher to explore the opportunities and adapt to corporate environment but internal politics. One should be very careful while working with CS teams, if anything is wrong then you are done for the entire year. No hikes.

Despite being an MNC, the mindset of the company is of a startup
Research Manager (Former Employee) - Bangalore - November 27, 2020
Despite being an MNC, the company acted very much like start up by laying off key people from the firm. With decades of operating as a major player in Research & Consulting field. It is unacceptable by the firm to lay off people rather than adjusting pay cuts or other measures...

Minimal salary not worth the stress
Senior Research Manager (Former Employee) - Mumbai, Maharashtra - July 14, 2020
Working at Kantar was highly stressful, compounded by the low increments.. it was not worth it. Senior Management did not even try to change things to make life better. Very high attrition.
