Kotak is a good bank about process and compliance and but working culture and growth very slow. Incentives structure is also not good that's the reason Incentive employee not feel comfortable to doing sales and stressful job.
Job in Kotak can be hectic but rewarding. As a part of the culture, the organization seeks to cultivate the talent in their employees, and offer them better roles.
Umpteen Opportunities in various departments
Work life balance is skewed towards work.
It was a day job of 9 hours. I learned patience, empathy and most of all bank policies and procedures. Handling customers in most effective manner. Management was really great there. Very helpful. Workplace culture was amazing. It was so much fun working there. Hardest part of the job was to deal with angry customers. Most enjoyable part of the job was pitching EMI or loans to customers.
I had a great yet challenging role at Kotak Mahindra Bank. This motivated me to get up early in the morning every day and come to office to render my services to my clients. A challenging work place where we got the support of each other whenever required.
Highly motivated, positive, innovative and goal-oriented, with demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail and problem solving skills. A strong team facilitator and motivator, fostering an atmosphere that encourages highly talented professionals to balance high level skill with maximum productivity .

A typical day in the bank starts with - talking to the team for the days goal - focus on some liability or asset product to be given weightage to - discuss on key areas of performance where team productivity is lacking from a month/year target point of view Doing multi tasking was the key and ensuring the team productivity is met was important While the culture was much more sales oriented and less focus on how but more on what Ensuring the team stayed true to their task and worked with you was the key and that was also the best part as you enjoyed together as a team.
long hours at work
The Immediate Seniors were good but the Management/ HR need to look what happens in Branch Level. The Scope of advancement is very Less and you will Need to give atleast 4-5 Years (if in Ops) before thinking of good hike and promotions

Lack of Advancement/ Growth
Being a fast growing company and one of the largest private banks in the country, the exposure provided to employees is immense. The company has a very strong entrepreneurial culture and there is a lot of scope for one to learn, fail and re- learn. At the same time the organization is extremely compliance oriented and there is no tolerance for any sort of compromise on ethics.
