KPMG, as a firm, has great employer practices and provides varied exposure to the employees. One requires patience and a knack for multi-tasking to excel in the challenging environment here. But, overall a great company to work with.
Employee friendly environment. Good learning curve. Ample opportunities for deserving candidates. Plenty work from home options and ample paid and sick leaves.
They insist on formal dressing even in the peak of rains!

Inspiring management Quality work is great. Learned alot about M&As Best people to work with. Pool table and Foosball tables add fun to everydays work.
Great place to start career
Salary is compartively little less (if you are not considering work life balance)
I have worked across the valuation and M&A advisory. KPMG provided a very good platform for learning and an opportunity to work across different teams to gain valuable exposure. Valuation Projects include: Fairness Opinion, Purchase Price Allocation (PPA), Impairment testing and other asset valuation projects. M&A Advisory Projects include: Buyer and target screening, profiles, complete pitch packs and other pre-M&A research.
Great exposure and learning
Lack of transparency
Actually Learned more and it is good to work.Good working culture and good management. Flexible timings and high fi work culture. Highly qualified people will give training and all the other facilities are there.
Those were the best days of my life. I loved to travel across Pan India for projects. Developed new skills • Conducted knowledge sharing sessions within the team. • Initiated new ideas for the growth of Advisory in terms of contribution of technology with quality.
Long working Hours, Extensive Travel
A typical day at work includes client meetings for audit purpose with a lot of brainstorming with peers and seniors. The organization provides a good learning platform for the beginners. I learned all of my work and professionalism here. The management can be unreasonable at times with respect to working even in the out of office hours. The employees may not be appreciated to be able/try to maintain a work life balance. The promotions may not be on merit basis every time. It's a let down. The most enjoyable part of the job is travelling and meeting new people every time.
commute to office
personal life and fitness
A typical day at KPMG starts with non-stop buzzing of cellphones during work hours (this is a by default policy at KPMG.. no one disturbs u beyond work hours). You get to work on exciting projects with prospects of travelling around the globe. People are nice and you can learn on the job with the help of those people. There is no hard part of the job. Only if you are willing and enthusiastic to put your best foot forward, things are butter-smooth then. The most wonderful part of the job is the travelling and meeting new people everyday. :)
