Fun place to work but no change in job position

Malayala Manorama is a morning newspaper, in Malayalam language, published from Kottayam, Kerala, India by Malayala Manorama Company Limited, Headed by Mammen Mathew .It was first published as a weekly on 22 March 1890, and currently has a readership of over 20 million (with a circulation base of over 2.1 million copies). .[2][3] The Malayalam title "Manorama" roughly translates to "entertainer". It is also the second oldest Malayalam newspaper in Kerala in circulation, after Deepika, which is also published from Kottayam. The Malayala Manorama Company is a private LLC corporation owned by the Kandathil family of Kottayam.[5] Malayala Manorama Company was incorporated by Kandathil Varghese Mappillai at Kottayam on 14 March 1888. The company started with one hundred shares of Rs 100 each. The investors paid in four equal instalments. With the first instalment, the company brought a Hopkinson and Cope press, made in London. A local craftsman, Konthi Achari, was hired to make Malayalam types for the imported press.

A typical day at Malayala Manorama will begin with a team huddle to prioritize our tasks for the day and to see in what ways we can help each other. After this, we'd head straight to our respective desks and follow up on the queries that have come in from our customers. An average day would be a mix of happy and unhappy customers - for which we've been prepared during our training - facing sudden mood swings from our customers and how to tackle and address them. Learning curve in customer relationships was great at Malayala Manorama.

A nice workplace but growth is slow

Manorama is a good place to work but what I have understood is that the possibilities of growth is very limited there. There is politics in workplace sometimes but that is there everywhere so cant actually complaint. Overall it is a nice place to work but you may want to switch if fast paced career growth is on your list.
