Not at all good. They have shifts but still they expect people to work overtime without equal pay. And definitely STRESSFUL. it comes down to one single person handling the COMPLETE department. If it's the morning shift, attend clients in a pleasing way and wind the tests as smoothly as possible. If evening shift, even more worse, getting the reports ready for the same clients is a headache because it wont get ready on time, and we are stuck in the evening shifts and are responsible for answering to the clients regarding the non readiness of the reports. We also have to individually attend calls, finish up with insurances and corporate summaries, which happens to be very annoying for persons single handedly attending the reports section in the evening time. All the stress at work, is unwantedly brought home as well. You get dreams or rather nightmares regarding the same. Please do not join if you are looking for remuneration, work life balance, shift timing and RECOGNITION. If you are willing to overlook that, then welcome to MEDALL. The lack of staffing in the centres make it difficult for the employees to work peacefully. When you ask to be provided for another person for doing the same work (which eases of the stress), managers are unable to do so, because their higher officials won't allow it.
