Its quite good to work here.

It has been quite a nice journey till now.Microsoft has a variety of products and you can choose to work in a team that you are excited to work for.No need to mention, people are good and work-life balance is awesome.

Great company but your experience depends on the manager

The senior management has the right intent. However, since it's a very big company an individual experience depends a lot on one's manager. If the dynamics of one's group is highly political, one can't advance without playing that game. Otherwise, it's a good company with interesting problems to solve.

Good culture and emphasis on customer but not at the cost of employee

It is a good place to work those who want a stress-free life. Not much office politics I have observed.People around are supportive and what's different here is that performance evaluation include how someone is helping others and building on others' ideas. Overall, this culture reduces competition and make people work as a team to large extent. Work-Life balance and employee mental wellbeing is given a decent priority as well.Compensation is decent but not very great. especially the annual hikes could be better

Cool and calm and productive work environment

- It is very fun and productive environment to be in - Colleagues are highly talented and motivated to achieve best - Management is okay but sometime you start feeling typical bossy culture. - you are lucky if you get to work with good manager

It was nice and fullfilling experience working in Microsoft

Microsoft had good compensation package along with comprehensive employee benefits. Workplace ambience was excellent. Workplace facilities were above industry standards.

Stressful with lots and lots of bureaucracy and politics at every level. Quality of work is not so good in India. Mostly restricted to the UI development.

Its a great place to work but the tech stack is old and if you are here for long then you might get stuck. Overall its a really good place to work with great management and monetary benefits

Okay to Work

Big company, lots of people - and this is a problem. People are not assigned teams per their skill-set or capability. Also sometimes people are not hired in the right group or division within the company - this creates mismatch in expectations and overall job dissatisfaction.

Pros

Work benefits, chance to participate in global events, make good impact

Cons

A lot depends on the team in which one is place, hence a lot of luck factor. Not all teams are good.
