Challenging
Research Assistant (Current Employee) - Durgapur, West Bengal - June 27, 2020
Working as a research assistant requires a lot of patience and the work culture at NIT Durgapur is very challenging. Characterizing newly synthesized materials is a bit difficult as there is no instrumentation facility. otherwise, all other things are good.

working as technician in reputed instution of national level
Technician (Current Employee) - Hamirpur, H.P, IN - July 12, 2017
I am working as technician on contract here in National institute of technology hamirpur. Here environment is good its a government institution but here management is so bad. I join this institute 4 years earlier and till day i have no salary hike. Its not of story of me alone but all the technicians who work here in contract all are in same salary from the date of joining we here not get any Provident fund facility and no other facility. So here working is not good because employer not take care of his employees even you work hard or do anything. Here is no future i have good skills in my field of work so for better opportunities i want to change my job. Because with a small salary for a good work not justified and everyday cost of the products going on increases but out salary is get settled in one place no moment and no body care here. so i write here the truth i as searching for good working environment where employer also take their some interest in their employees for their growth. if we work good i think we also deserve good.
Thanks
Pros
5 days working only
Cons
No increment, no job security, employer is not good, no other benifits

NIT-K is one of the highly ranked college in India .It has good infrastructure, labs and other facilities along with good staff member. It creates excellent work culture which is also a driving force for the research and work becomes simple and enjoyable here.
Salary is decide by central government and I think it is not much more satisfying for JRF and project assistant.
