In general this is a good company to work. Experience will be limited to working on their framework and this will pose a problem for your career. You may get random project assignment. Job security is a challenge and depends a lot on many factors most of which are not in your control.

Convergys used to be good I heard, Netcracker is a pale shadow of that

When I joined Netcracker, the HR manager convinced me that I should accept the low salary as the benefits at Netcracker were quite many and that there was no variable component as it was in the old company. So you get what you are told. That was a complete lie as 6 months down the lane they forced a variable component for mid to senior level executives, paid out every 6 months. Then started the layoffs induced by shareholders and the Russians who owned the company. That was another problem. Most often you heard complaints that lesser experienced russians with poor english managed you and you had to listen to what they said. While that didnt affect most of us, maybe the top managers did. Layoffs were put on those who performed well with higher salaries so it didnt make sense. There is a high level of competition between colleagues and there is very less knowledge sharing so you continously struggle. Your manager does not help you during work allocation but is ready to blast you when you are not able to find work. Old employees continously bully the newcomers and laterals. It's a bit uncomfortable and claustrophobic when you see there is no feedback on your leads/ managers and have to suffer without compromise. Not a very happy place if you are a lateral and cannot work your way around the org structure.

Once join make sure you have god father to protect you all the time. Join this if you don't have anything in your hand. Believes in working in silos and team work is missing.
