Insights into New India Assurance
What people like
- Feeling of personal appreciation
- Clear sense of purpose
- Inclusive work environment
Region Based politics and caste based bias is always shown even after being a largest PSU .
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) - Bengaluru, Karnataka - May 20, 2021
Region Based politics and caste based bias is always shown even after being a largest PSU .Not suitable for those who wish to build a concrete career, no new things were learnt, it doesn't show any areas for employee development and learning, No employee interaction, no knowledge sharing, no productive meetings, Many caste based and region based politics. The most unfriendly HR practices, the worst management practices. Many CA's , Lawyers and Doctors are working here but we never gets the chance to use our education and the MANAGERS hardly knows the difference between a MBA/BCOM and CA. Every one are expected to know just typing of mails like a PA to Managers
Pros
Very less work and work pressure
Cons
Region based language based and caste based politics and promotions are based on only Caste, Local status, and mainly not for the real talent but only for show off candidates

Great company with immense exposure
RELATIONSHIP MANAGER,UNDERWRITING (Former Employee) - Pune, Maharashtra - November 30, 2018
The company has immense opportunity for people who are willing to learn. Due to strong financial capacity, got opportunity to write large risks.
The work hours are fixed. Gud part is that if you want to learn, you have loads of opportunity but no performance incentive.
Pros
Great work culture
Cons
Fixed salary increase. No incentives on performance.

A pathetic place for career advancement. Typical Day was mostly spent in doing regular chores. Not challenging enough. Workplace culture was highly demotivating and ridden with senseless politics.

It is a very large company and offers a diverse experience encompassing a large canvass, a unique opportunity for learning and growth
Independent Financial Advisor (Former Employee) - Mumbai, MH - August 24, 2012
It is a relaxed atmosphere where the work place is not frantic and offers a chance to meet unique customer requirements, often the company products have to be customised for these unique needs, thereby giving us the challenge and enjoyment in meeting them. The management constitutes from within the work place itself, people who have worked hard and risen from the ranks, hence, the culture is more democratic.
Pros
great place to add diverse experiences, and unique place which offers a wide canvas and freedom to apply proven skills
Cons
could become better if there was more working space offered
