Work life balance goes for a toss, there's no respect for a person's leisure time or other activities. Always expected to work. Management does not do a good job at aligning timelines to work deliverables. Salary is good
Salary is good
No work life balance, no hikes or promotion, slow growth, lack of modern technologies

Working as a QA Manager or Team Lead for the last 2 years in Nielsen, They have provided unlimited Work From Home, I am responsible for all work starting from executive level to Manager level, Yearly appraisal on time
Less salary as compare to Market, Management not concerned about employees growth or issues
Excellent Company with good management team. Product and Software development teams are excellent and always ready to learn and apply new things to improve customers experience. Overall great place to work with competitive Salary.
A unique company for sure and there is none like this in India. Lots of emphasis on people from the top. However, be wary of loads of Internal Politics. Especially from the tenured employees since the management tends to listen to them more than the new comers. You either suck up to them or your job is at risk for sure. Until and unless you have some executive leadership support you you do not have a job security !
Pros > Friendly Co-Employees > Good Place to work (Location) > Stress-Free >Flexible Hours Negative Reviews > Less Salary also very Poor Hikes like 800/- per year when compared to other MNC's > Not Professional > Management has to come up with New Ideas and Try to build Professional Career with Existing Employees rather than hiring new employees with same old Job

Jobs at Nielsen
I always my friends to Nielsen culture. I love working with Nielsen and always try to be my future employers. The best Management team and best in class supportive staff. Flexible in working hours and working environment. specially for female employees.
Leadership is uncertain about their agenda and policies. Every year they restructure the organization. Lay-offs without reason taking place. No future!

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Nielsen continues to evolve to meet our clients’ needs, which sometimes means that our organizational structure and priorities will need to change. However, we are committed to helping our associates find opportunities to grow their skill sets through training and development opportunities so that they can evolve and grow along with us.
Excellent work-life balance, everyone is friendly. Virtual meetings/ Work from Home. Long working hours sometimes could be a hassle. Make your own schedule, job you can leave and not feel guilty. Upper management is cooperative. provides professional development opportunities
