- My typical day of working in NTPC was the TG Deck concreting for which I have done 36 hour duty continuously at NCPP Dadri in 1988.- I have learned so much during my tenure in NTPC.- The work work culture in NTPC is very nice.- The most enjoyable part of my job is to keep my family with me.

In CSR I am satisfied working. The job includes planning, budeging, implementing of about 10- 20 crore per annum in about 30 near by village s. The satisfaction of customer s about 2 lakhs. Many awards and appreciaions.

NTPC is a Maharatna Public Sector company and you can find many talented people around specially in technical arena. Plant township is well developed but location is remote.

Work pressure is not too much however accountability and job responsibilities are quite high. I have learnt a lot over the period of 35 years All my co-workers supported me in executing the job, there was a proper team spirit The hardest part was during shut down which happens once in 2 months The most enjoyable part of my job was work life balance, I never missed any event in my family and I always completed my tasks at work

Learning environment

It has given me opportunity to work on mega power projects. The hardest part of the job is our project locations which are located mostly in north east.I am presently looking after the contract management activities of major BOP packages of Thermal/Gas turbine power plants.
