Difficulty with knowledge . Probably rules are strictly followed as the NFC is govt based organisation but quality of knowledge assimilation is quite impressive

It is nice working in. N F C

During my tenure in. N F C I have worked in. Various Sections and I have learned so much knowledge from my. Sr. Officers. My. Officers are very co opetstive and they always gives advices to improve work and how fast the work could be completed.

It's complicated section and fun and seriousness at work place

All Sirs and madam's are respectable persons at work place and I have fully experienced in work place with different age groups of respected Sirs and madams

Productive place

I worked in a sstp plant as a graduate appreintice trainee .. I learnt a lot in industrial automation plc and elctrical drives and scada .. Gained knowledge in electrical maintainance .Although its very hard to find spare time to learn and ask to scientic officers .. But if we have strong desire..We can do it...Overall one year training is a good experience to learn

An interesting place which gives good industrial exposure

There are many things to learn at this place and the people over there are very supportive. They made sure that the concepts were understood in detail and a thorough follow-up was kept. The hardest part was to sustain the heat and going from one plant to another as it was a huge plant.

Worst company to work

too much politics, too much work, visibility is everything. No proper work and need to work as slave nothing. shameless company& shameless manageress there is no best reason to work with company Dont join the company .worst management

Effective hub for a start up junior engineer

Effective and efficient work environment with dignifies team members. Heavy machined industry, wide in area and space. Well organised departments as per the production standards.

I am work in zirconium oxide plant.it is a part of nuclear fuel complex .the main product is nuclear fuel bundles and reactor core components for all nuclear thermal power stations

There is heavy pressure on you and people are not super friendly and helpful. Although a good place to learn design and manufacturing.

Process Engineer

 Carried out various Unit Operations involved in the Production of Zirconium Oxide.  Separation of Hafnium from Zirconium.  Design of Hydro Cyclone, including conceptual studies, pre-FEED activities, front end engineering and detailed engineering.  Design and Operation of Hydro Cyclone, used for the separation of Fine particles from slurry.

A very good organization to work for.

For a major part of about 37 years of my engagement with NFC, DAE, I was involved mainly in developmental activities and the daily work also was related to the several aspects of R&D. I joined the DAE as a fresh graduate in the year 1976 and gained a lot of knowledge and experience in the field of developing new systems successfully. These SPMs are making vital contribution to the production work at NFC. I found the management at NFC quite accommodative and patient enough to encourage meaningful R&D activities in the relevant fields. The co-workers in different related sections are highly cooperative and made important contributions to the success of the SPMs developed under my guidance / by our teams. The hardest part of the job has been the need for extreme perseverance and innovative skills to achieve conformance to the very stringent quality assurance requirements prevalent in the nuclear industry. As an engineering student at the college, I have been dreaming of developing new mechanisms and machines ever since I first saw a turret lathe carrying out several operations automatically during an industrial visit. I consider myself very fortunate that the work I got at NFC is entirely in tune with my desire and, when I look back at my service, it gives me immense pleasure that my college-day dream remains adequately realised. I would be available for future job assignments from March, 2015 onwards.
