The company provides good facilities but has to work in remote areas during fieldwork even if the weather is too hot. Office work is good but sometimes have to overwork

Good place to get knowledge of oil field equipments. The central workshop does the maintenance and repairing of all the oil field equipments and machineries from all the location of of ONGC India.

Productive and good place to learn core engineering

Best PSU in India and third largest E&P Company in the world. Work life balance is also good. Pay and perks are decent and best among the PSUs. Lesser growth opportunities for people with Electrical, Electronics ans CS backgrounds.

I did dissertation at ONGC. It was fun learning but there was no earning. We were researching and it took 6 month's but there was no stipend for us. There were new things to learn with high-tech machines.
