Learning Opportunity are enough like startup

There is learning opportunity at paytm but all works happen in fast way. for the fresher there is much possibility. I am working as Site Reliability Engineer here and it's my best decision to join Paytm

Unproductive workplace

Very poor salary with no job security. Stressful as there are non achievable target. No support from managers, who only care about sales numbers. Join if you have no other options available.

Good for beginners

Paytm is a good company to work with. But overall the salary and benefits depends upon the place where you live. You will get better package if you live in tier 1 cities

Productive and competitive

Company recognises the talent and provide you opportunities to grow with time.Would load is significant as they are still working in the startup fashion having multiple things running in parallel

Not a very great company.

This company is too much hyped. Work culture is not very good. Appreciation also never happens. Sudden changes lead to lack stability and consistency with the org.

Good Place To Learn

So far work pressure is normal, since I have recently joined as an Intern.Supportive team mates. Helps you when you are stuck.Management of all the Interns is not that good. There was no proper information regarding Training materials.

bad work culture, very stressful atmosphere

If you are joining as a fresher, learning curve is great. For experienced employees not much area of growth. The environment is very stressful. Management treats you as if they own you. Not very professional leadership. Bad work life balance.

Good learning curve in a fast paced environment

Working in BD, Day started by making plans for the day and managing any previous or newly arisen issue. Leniency from reporting manager for planning and strategizing activities throughout the day. Work culture is open and collaborative.

Good place to learn a lot.

Would recommend joining Paytm as a fresher, you'll get to learn a lot. The company has a fast paced working environment, one is expected to follow deadlines rigorously which sometimes lead to stressful work. Management is not upto the mark(this is my opinion). Some teams are very collaborative while others are not, I was lucky to get a good team and have a good manager.

Pros

Free lunches, gym membership

Cons

WLB is bad sometimes

Overall bad experience

- People join and leave within short span therefore no proper processes are set- A person is loaded with so much work and sometimes poked on weekends as well- No work life balance- A lot depends on your team and your manager but that can only help you so much. Mostly everyone is struggling with the work culture at Paytm.- I did not stay for long but have heard that increments do not happen for even 2 years straight.- The company should really think about their employees' well-being, it's almost toxic.- No line drawn between personal and professional life. You will be added to so many whatsapp groups and tagged in messages throughout the day and evening, you will not know when to do your work and when to respond to messages.

Pros

You will learn provided you have a good manager

Cons

Specified so many
