Very stressful

Stressfull working environment. Very slow moving work. Management may not recognize the efforts. Performance management very bad. Not encouraged to be open and honest

Bureaucratic and political .. Poor work culture and favors who are

Just unimaginable and poor management. They have prioritize people based on who is more favorable to whom. I have wasted precious time of our life in it. Unless you are willing to take unnecessary politics and favoritism this is a wrong place to work. Regarding payment and salary its good. But no worklife balance. HR has no role to play just a puppet of Management. Never considered empowering and looking at the human side.

Salary and other benefit wise good.

Poor work culture and political organization not recommended.

Good organization to work for. Employee benefits are very good. Management is friendly. Annual leaves are sufficient and they have very relaxed policies

Great policies and work ethics

Great work culture, ethics and policies. Global best practices, best IT systems and employee friendly policies. Only issue is lack of long term sustainable business views.

The continous growth that I saw in myself isthe best

Productive and Fun Place

Hi All, During my stay in Philips I have learned a lot and enjoyed my time. The work culture is very relaxed and calm. Very good work life Balance. The thing sometimes the managers doesn't understand about technical stuff and that becomes challenging.

Work life balance is a challenge in my team but overall it is really a great experience starting my career at Philips

Philips is a healthcare company which has a clear vision on where they are heading. I felt great working for the company but after some time I wanted to change the team to work on a different project and that did not happen because management wants me to stay in my current team. That's the only reason I left the company. other than that pay is good and work life balance is a challenge sometimes which also depends on the team you are working for.

slow moving organization, trying to become more agile, everyone is not on board, Inter-teams collaboration is missing, depends on manager,

Opportunity for growth are very limited, moving within and across is difficult at higher levels, leaders are ambiguous, work life balance is ok, There is not really Hugh pressure to achieve results as long as you are perceived to try, inter teams coordination is missing, lots of duplications, Its an ethical company.

Pros

employee friendly policies, fair pay, work life balance, not a difficult place to survive.

Cons

non-existent HR oversight to ensure that managers are fair which is very surprising, lot of duplication and waste, lower coordination between teams, ambiguous directions from leadership.
