Good learning curve, visionary leadership, challenging atmosphere, and many more
I was a part of Support for 7+ yrs, so continuous night shift was the only cons that I faced... And only the reason I left PTC
its fairly a good company where we are encouraged to learn may great things without any limitations, provided if we are ready to learn. and the scope to learn is very very vast and the future technology is studied here in much advance
no shortage of knowledge to gain
not a much secure job

I am part of the sales cycle, which is called prospecting and qualifying. The idea is to find out about pressing challenges and business initiatives in the field of our solutions. I personally really enjoy the qualifying process because I am a very curious person and it feels like making many new friends on one day and on top of that gain new insights into different businesses.
Job is not secured, any time you can fired with in a short notice.Though there is a work life balance, but you will be dump and no intitative taken for training and upgrade to the employees, only they treat you as a head count.
Will be working on the company specific products, with not much technical growth. The company is good if you get good team and manager. Also the job security is purely dependent on the department you work (PLM,SLM).You might end up losing your job without much prior intimidation.
Pros: 1. Good salary and shift allowances 2. work from home facility. 3. If you are in Technical support, PS, GS, R&D, IOT team you will enhance your skills. Cons: 1. Be ready to be fired at any time without any prior notice. (happened for last three years) 2. One fine morning they will call you and tell you, you are fired because the order came from upper management. (Management is not trying to relocate employees, other teams) Instead of that they will rehire if the requirement is there and fire when customers are going out of the cloud. 3. PTC having a Cloud NOC team, it will send emails if any alerts come from the server(disk is filled, memory is used..etc) I think for this job engineers are not needed. 4. They are hiring experienced employees to just install PTC software in the cloud environment( double click installable-->next-->next-->finish). ( i do not think for this also engineers are not needed). 5. PTC Cloud having an incident team, the only job is to pass the incident to TS(Technical support team). Some customers are having extended cloud support in which the only job is to review the customization deployed in the cloud. If you want to implement a new solution it is out of scope. 6. Shifting in between departments is very poor.
work from home facility, shift allowances and other allowances
zero job security, poor standard of work in cloud team.
You get to work on all the technologies which is specific to teams in PTC. You make or break yourself here and you have the provisions for both. As an individual contributor you grow both technically and as a leader.
Flexible working hours
Canteen not great
