PwC is one organisation which is very vast and has opportunities for all fields of commerce and now even for IT professional. PwC upholds its standards with a high degree of professionalism. If one can manage his workload, he/she can quickly climb up the ladder

Pros

You get to associate yourself with one of the best organisation in the world

Cons

The working hours can stretch in busy season

Way too much work pressure.

Clients are treated as God and you are expected to fulfill all their whims and fancies. Be ready to put in 12+ hours of work on workdays and sometimes (twice in a month) on weekends as well.

Pros

Job security and brand name.

Cons

Stressful work. No work life balance. Pay not upto the mark compared to other Big 4.

Good Company

This is a nice organization for new joiners. As there will be plenty of learning opportunities. During busy seasons the work pressure is usually quite high, other than that the work pressure is manageable throughout the year

Pros

Good Salary and Learning

A good company with lot of politics

Pwc is a good company, with job security and perks. But the only bad thing is the management and yearly hikes, some can say use of tehnology is also not up to the mark with the current market.

Pros

Worklife balance, job stability

Cons

pay, use of mordern technolgy

Too long hours

They keep on giving work and put complete pressure. They make you work under stress. If you have less experience and basic knowledge they expect in depth expertise and make you work with stress under pressure

Cons

Long hours. No senior support. Overflowing work. Less resource for more work.

A world full of opportunities to tap on

I would work on projects ranging from corporate strategy to product management. Since being a consulting firm, setting up a product culture has been very difficult across business verticals. But I really enjoyed the impact my work could create and it was only possible for PwC's flat culture to enable me with the autonomy needed to get things done.

Pros

Travel, fancy lunches and off-sites, flat team hierarchy, sabbatical

Cons

bad pay and legacy technology systems

Long working Hours and stressful

Your stress depends on your manager. Some are as intelligent and cool as cucumbers while few are stupid and arrogant and you need to watch out for them. Fairly Good company.

Pros

Good Exposure, Early Responsibility

Cons

Stressful

Not a great place to be with so many changes

Not a great place with so many changes in management in Bangalore SDC. No clear paths for promotions. There are few people who have been made directors , whereas there are tier1 rated people still struggling to get promotions. Hikes are decent yet not upto market standards for the top performers. There is no clear scale to evaluate who’s the performer and who isn’t.

Pros

Leave policy

Cons

Promotions, hikes, team management, politics

Learned a lot

The most enjoyable part of the job borders around the excellent team spirit that existed within my group. We were all supportive of each other. The management was an open system, whereby all staff members have direct access to the top management, if necessary.
