It depends on the client

If you like fast paced and dynamic environment then you will enjoy working here. Your life completely depends on the client here. PwC team does not have much to play here.

Good learning, minimal interference from peers

No work from home flexibility, salary less than market value

Global brand but very local

Company has good global brand. People practices are good. The organisational culture is however very hierarchical and too much importance given to tenure than capability at all levels.

Good Workplace

Good place to learn and grow. Learnt a lot about indirect taxation and how to do tax filing. A compliance based work environment. Only improvement could be work life balance and better pay.

Still a lot to develop

The organisation is still to make its learning and implementation stable and with so many trainings and work, it needs organizing its Project Managers, Project owners to be better delegating and allotting work to prevent stress. The organisation to prosper needs so.Still not the original PwC environment like in UK or US. Even Sartudays can easily be a working day due to project manager's mis management

Salary and benefits

Flexibility is an alibi to keep employees stuck at work for long.

Good projects to work on

can help you to upskill your career. Sometimes promotions becomes a challenge. Work life balance can be tough depending on the project you are deployed.

Good learning exposure but work life balance not good

Global exposure is there along with immense learning but maintaining work life balance is difficult. Some projects can be stressful - and extended long hours will be there.

Stressful and extremely fast paced than necessary

First and foremost your background experience doesn’t matters, you will be put into an environment as per the firm’s necessity and not into your area of expertise. They will ask you for some tools which you need to learn by yourself and need to earn certification within 2 weeks and get into any projects irrespective of your knowledge and expertise. You will be handover some tasks in the morning and need to be delivered in the evening sometimes it’s a couple of hours also. Not necessary that weekends are for relax , sometimes you have to slog those weekends as well. No time of meetings, it can start at late evenings and continue for hours. Even if the job is satisfying there is no work life balance in this firm and this is one of the key reasons why attrition rates are so high. Sometimes a resource is asked to work on 3-4 projects simultaneously and he will continue to log in for 18 hours in a day. Request the candidate before joining the firm need to know the job role in and out, review the company’s feedback thoroughly before taking a call.

Lots of learnings in short span of time, good perks

Extremely long hours, very fast paced, rough managers around

Great place to work with emphasis on skill development without compromising work life balance. The pay was adequate and on par with industry standards.

Streched and stressful workhours with high expectations

I worked in the company for both technology consulting before covid and management consulting after covid.Tech (before covid):1. Manageable work hours (for some it was not)2. Good Learning opportunity3. In kolkata, people are nice so will help4. Not suggested for people who don't have tech. (CS/IT) background and don't even like it. Management consulting (after covid, no employee life balance):1. Extra streched weekdays (work even till 12 night) with weekday work2. Client pressure is there to perform within tight timeline3. General roles so breadth of knowledge but no deep expertise on something4. Leaving few, no work life balance

Initial Learning due to push, good money, competitive work environment, fancy living

Long hours, management pressure

Company policies are good, employee centric

Promotion is very slow, depends completely on top management. Best part is job security. No proper roles will be provided. Need to be updated all the time with new technology and solutions. Company hardly invest on the learning. I have mixed opinion. For person with less aspirations can stay forever here.

It’s nice company

I worked at pwc AC Bangalore centre. It was really good experience, the management is really good and transparent. The rating system is enough transparent to achieve the career levels. My director was excellent professional providing guidance while working with cross functional team.
