Good company with lot to learn
Hardware Engineer (Current Employee) - Bengaluru, Karnataka - March 25, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGood company with lot to learn. As a fresher it is good to start with service based companies where you get to work laterally in all domains. In MNC, as the team gets divided, you have to work vertically on one domain.

Company policies are good but India Finance leads need to learn how to value employees and focus on quality work
Financial Analyst (Current Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - March 15, 2023
Company policies are good. Company will do good in next couple of years. India Finance FP&A head is not a good leader. He lacks empathy. Employees are made to work on areas which are not of their interest. A good amount of work that Finance team supporting San Diego does is not Finance. It is pricing upload in tools, reconciliation, data download etc. Team is asked to work extra hours and over weekends to meet superficial deadlines. Everything is a priority here. Good folks are resigning. Qualcomm is a great company for engineers but finance folks should avoid. RSUs is a trap for finance folks as they might or might not get it every year. Good part of the job: Qualcomm as an organisation has employee friendly policies be it be food, travel, training, insurance. Everything is on an upper end.

wlb ia not good
Senior Engineer (Current Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - January 6, 2023
While joining the pay will be good. But if you are under wrong manager then he can make your like horrible. Initially they might pay well but they will marginalize over the years.

Good work, but wlb is not upto the mark
Work life balance is not proper. Work culture is good, and teammates are friendly. But after few days work looks a bit stable, and management is good.

Stressful place to work
Validation Engineer (Current Employee) - Hyderabad, Telangana - August 2, 2022
Working at Qualcomm is so stressful and too much of workload. You feel very low sometimes due to aggressive managers who suck employees blood. You will have to work for atleast 12hrs in a day and more often one need work during weekends as well.
Pros
You will learn to work under pressure
Cons
Stressful

It is good for those who are less aspirational and want to settle down in their career
Consultant (Former Employee) - Bengaluru, Karnataka - June 20, 2022
For experienced professionals, Qualcomm is one of the best companies to work. It offers career stability like no other in its space and has some good perquisites. It is easy to come across people who started their career here and almost reaching their retirement age. Being a huge organization, it is process driven and encourages automation across many groups which is something I liked. On the flip side, I felt there were way too many people than their job demands making day to day work less efficient. For fresh graduates, while there's ample scope to learn new things for 1 - 1.5 years, it could get monotonous thereafter (it's true in every other job as well). In the interest of their career, it would be good to learn as much in this time and use it as a pedestal to move on with their long term goals. The easiest part of the job is to be in a meeting for most of the productive day and the hardest part is to figure out if that time was well spent.

Average Company
Software Engineer (Current Employee) - Hyderabad, Telangana - May 3, 2022
This is a good first company if you want to get into the MNC world. The pay would seem okay at first but soon realise it way below industry standard. WLB is heavily dependent on teams, and most teams have pretty bad wlb
Pros
Free Lunch
Cons
Long Hours

Good place to learn, but not always
Lead Engineer (Current Employee) - Hyderabad - March 22, 2022
At times you get to learn good technical skills, but sometimes, it is a niche kind of work. Work culture is good. Pay is average. The benefits are good. Free Lunch and snacks. Leave policy is flexible
