QCOM Chennai is just a sweat shop where employees are treated like cattle; absolutely no vision or work life balance. Horrible place to work. The only reason people stay here is because people want to be in Chennai.

Good Workplace with comfortable working area and Food facility

Typically day starts in morning around 8AM and will end in evening 4PM. Management was good, Pay scale was also impressive.Benefits like Health Insurance and Food facility was very appriciable.

Pros - Fun place to work - Still the leader in mobile space - Team work ethics were great Cons - Poor compensation - Poor work-life balance. You are expected to be available all the time - Terrible management - Cancels a project midway, then resumes it 2 months later and expect the same time frame for completion without any additional resources

Productive but less job security for consultants

QC has less projects atleast from sep 2013 to till date which is causing the layoffs. we found typically work is less and headcount seems to be high. High salary offers is being now paid off by qualcomm, I mean Qualcomm offers high salary but now that it is running short of projects, it has to cut down the man power.
