The company is just a grave for the talented engineer. This company is just a tourist destination for Railway Personnel for five years. They are ruining the company. The company has no plans for future growth.

Joining as a site engineer after cracking GATE is life spoiler decision. Joining this company is like suicide. Group D or peon or daily labours are much more valued than a site engineer. Please prepare well join a private company but stay away from this company. I am writing to those who want to join as of no option. This can not be even a option. If you want to suicide then join and rest in peace.

I am currently working as a site engineer in rail vikas nigam limited. It is a Mini Ratna PSU,giving enormous work experience related to railway electrification work.The only drawback is that it recruits on contrctual basis,but after completion of training/contractual period years, designation will be Project Engineer whose salary will be:- Basic-40000 IDA- 3520 CA-5600 TPT-1600 HRA-6400 PF-5222 TA DA-30K Per month TOTAL-92342 So, RVNL is better place to get experience and salary too.

Good atmosphere for working

Do not join,its like going to attempt suicide. As we are gate qualified and graduate engg, we have some respect for ourself but in rvnl every upper level person will treat you as you are a pion. Even in some case, some project manager start abusing like illetrate person. Work culture is really horible. But some times it also depends on job location and your project manager also... Thank you ..

Don't join RVNL

Rvnl is very unorganized organisation.There is No value of site engineer. Salary of Site Enggs. are less the group D employee of railway's. Better join some private company rather then joining RVNL

I only say if u have other option with very low....Payment but permanent job... Than just drop it.. Even SSC MTS is better than this.... I m working here right now....But try to leave ...and find some better job On site u always fear about some bahubali type people's ..Who itself a peti contractor...

Managemnt is not able to handel there resources properly and there working enviroment is not at par to private sector. They lack behind in advance technology and still work on paper files

We have learned a lot of things on the sites.As the training procedure for freshers was not there in the company so we laerned struggling on the site.I learned about drawing readings,estimation and costing, BBS ,steel quantity, execution of diffrent works etc.
