The day starts with checking emails whether any part for Medical Equipment has been ordered, landed in India, received at office or in transit. If the part has to be delivered on site in some other city, then challans has to be sent to Warehouse for direct delivery. Tracking the part in transit from Warehouse to site and site to Warehouse as return cycle is much important. Informing Engineers about the arrival of parts ordered by them and arranging the delivery of parts as per their requirement. Preparing Estimates for Parts of Equipments not under warranty or contract. The things to learn is mastering the art of maintaining harmony and relations with many people at one single moment. Be it an Enginner or transport driver. Meeting deadlines of return cycle is also an important part. Co-workers here are too co-operative. Its like a family. If co-workers can't help, they will provide an alternate solution. Hardest part of the job is to deal with transport co-ordinators in case of emergencies and urgencies. The most enjoyable part of the job is getting the equipment up and running in time facing all the hardships.
