Average school
PGT Commerce (Current Employee) - Thakurganj, Uttar Pradesh - May 11, 2022
Work load is too much salary is not according to the work. They even ask you to take work home and complete it. They make you stay for extra hours during some event for that they even don't pay.
Pros
New experiences
Cons
Extra work time

A warm and inclusive campus community. Provides the opportunity to make positive contributions towards the College's mission.
Manager (Current Employee) - Food Service Department - July 15, 2021
Caring, professional and respectful management team. The compensation for various hospitality related positions at St Joseph's is less than average for the job market here in southern Maine. However, factor in the benefits, paid time off, and the genuine appreciation and support of the food service leadership and you've got one of the best opportunities for quality of life and long term employment.
Pros
Your contributions are appreciated
Cons
Some positions only 9 months

Less Benefits and Lots of Workloads
Sped Teacher (Former Employee) - Quezon City - July 15, 2021
In my 3 years of experience as a Sped Teacher in SJCQC. I felt so happy at first but after a year I notice that most our admin, teachers, especially the principal I never learned from them in fact it is a self learning . The only thing that I learned is my students . I love working with them . This school is not generous and not taking care of the employees concerns and health . Not recommended to work here .
Pros
The Love of the Students and Support of the parents
Cons
Very Low Salary and Benefits

Low Stress Job for Students
Tutor (Former Employee) - Patchogue, NY - July 27, 2020
Overall the SJC Tutoring Centers are a great place to work for students. You are allowed to work on classwork during downtime, and have friendly coworkers/understanding management that will work around your class schedule. It also pays a bit more than most retail positions.

Productive and life lesson experience working environment
Student Worker (Current Employee) - Brooklyn, NY - May 9, 2020
This was one of the most learning, life lesson jobs that I have ever required. A typical day at work is making flyers for college events, correcting resumes, and approving jobs on resumes. The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to know how to write my own resume and cover letter from scratch, how to apply for jobs, being prepared for interviews, etc. If I did not take the risk to reach out for this work-study job, knowing what I have learned now, I would be very disappointed. This is definitely a job worth it.

Difficult to work for
Japanese and French Teacher (Former Employee) - Toowoomba QLD - May 7, 2020
I was offered some contract work here, then they retracted the offer. Found it hard to talk to the management. Pay was less than working elsewhere. Difficult to work for over a long period.

Great place to work
Philosophy Professor (Current Employee) - Patchogue, NY - April 30, 2020
The atmosphere and students at St. Joseph's College are hard workers. Most have full time jobs and go to school as well. They are diligent and want to succeed. The campus is beautiful, modern and spacious. The faculty and staff are so accommodating and really support all the teachers and students. It is a wonderful place to work and/or attend.

The most enjoyable part of the job is the leadership and the community and culture of the students. There is nothing bad that stands out. I work there part-time and they treat me like family, just as if I were full-time.
The students are assume and always prepared and share information using critical skills thinking. It is a great Job.
