Tcs mainly consist and working on support/billing/financialdata/banking etc. So its one type of customer servicing job where candidate work to resolve the issues at back-end.Fresher got the training from senior regarding the work to be perform there. Managers will keep their eye on team for the over all work.Working hours is flexible and long hierarchy of managing project will irritates you sometime.Overall, I would like to say if you want to work entire your life into the tcs then best job but if you are planning to explore your self and wants to innovate something then I won't be recommended it.

Only a stepping stone into IT industry

Experience after working on almost 10 projects, at 3 locations, for 5 years: A company to join only in case you have no other offer, or they are giving you a job at your preferred location where there are no other software companies. 70% of the projects just need dumb work. No real work that actually develops your skill and boot-licking is how you move forward in the company. Pay is pitty, managers are useless and will call you anytime day or night when they get a question from clients or upper management. You might never get a project matching your skillsets even after begging for years. Chances of even lying to you to get into a project, only to find out there is nothing matching your skillset or anything that they promised you there.People who still say it is a good company are those who haven't experienced how actually companies work professionally.

Maybe health Insurance, but they deduct premium amount form your salary

Cons

No personal boundaries, reducing salary, politics in plain sight, no career growth, unnecessary and useless policies/trainings/courses/projects

truly enjoyed working in TCS in Hyderabad, India but I had to quit my job as I got married and was not getting a transfer to Mumbai. I loved everything in TCS but regret my decision to quit as TCS has no rehire policy. All I can say is that TCS should reconsider their policy and let people join back in genuine cases like mine. I look forward to working in TCS provided there is a change in the rehire policy.

I have started my career with TCS and I'm very glad that I got this opportunity! I believe TCS is a very good company to start your career with. Sometimes there are people specially some seniors who will try to pull you down, which I think is very common in every company, however you just need to focus on your work and rise and shine.
