Reviews about Pay & Benefits for Back End Developer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)

Good place

Very low compensation and salary, negligible hikes. Work life balance is good. Too much politics. Mostly support projects are there, very less development.

Great work culture and multiple projects to choose from

TCS is one of the biggest IT employer of India and It does have a great corporate culture and most of it projects are large scaled. Onsite opportunities are there and Management is also great. Great HR policies. Only downside is the compensation, the growth in compensation can be really slow here unless you are a start performer (only 1 in like 5000).

Job Security can be found but no growth career wise

Pay-scale is less as per industry standards and Promotions are delayed. Job security is there. HRs are co-operative. Events are organized regularly. Overall a satisfactory work place.

Pros

Job security

Cons

Less pay
