Runs like a dictatorship

Overall good.
One of the few hospitals in the country where all cases from infective diarrhea to myocardial infarction treated.
Good learning experience.

Fun, collaborative, peace, optimistic environment
Work used to begin at 9 am and end at 5 pm in weekdays. I had to perform sample testing in Medical microbiology and Pathology laboratory . The samples included body fluids like sputum, urine samples . Other samples were feces samples. I had to inoculate them on nutrient agar plates and perform Gram staining on the bacterial colonies after incubation to check for the type of bacterial infection. I also had to report either sterility or fertility of male patients by observing the samples
under microscope. I learnt the basics of pathology comprising the acquisition of samples and the coordinated manner by which different testing is done depending on the sample. Apart from this I had
to also test the quality of food articles acquired from the hospital kitchen by inoculating them in agar plates and observing them. I learnt the functioning of many automated instruments which included
automated blood culture system, bacteria identifying machine, etc. The testing of normality and abnormality of blood cell by performing staining protocol and observing under microscope was also a part of my job. The work environment was the best with best doctors to assist and guide you. People were very interactive and with positive attitude towards everyone. The most enjoyable part of the job was it's systematic nature.What would you say about your employer?
