The most useful review selected by IndeedYou can learn a lot if you work sincerely.The management is not proper. There is tremendous castism. Work culture is otherwise good but if you are ambitious and want to go to higher level, you have to face the castism. These people who practice castism, behave as if they are owner of the company. There is undisclosed reservation for employees belonging to these communal people and their employees from each level are benefited as compared to other castes.

Very great organization. Good place to get rich experience.
Cons
Castism and communalism is existing at every department. They spoil the culture.

It's not a 9 to 5 job unless you are posted at Headquarters. You will miss important events of your life. Railways don't stop in rain, weekends, festivals so they expect same from you. They pay nice and you would be able to manage your family expenses on the salary if you are in Delhi. However, the salary is not in line with what you lose in return. It really takes a toll on your health. Private sector industry will respect you if you have got work experience of Delhi Metro. Expect a higher salary of you move to some other organization after working some time here.
