Full of politics where there is no learning at all. Work environment and culture is toxic.

This department is full of politics where there is no structure, no work plan, nothing. As a whole work environment is toxic with less salary. No future growth possibilities.

One of the worst place to work

Extremely disorganised Company where nothing is going right. Extreme politics, very low pay, no learning or meaningful work, incompetent people at all levels.Nothing good about this place.

Pros:TATA values on paperStable paySecure jobAccommodationMost colleagues and managers are decent and helpfulCons:No growth in skills.Salary hardly increasing (Not company issue, industry problem)Increasingly disoriented from original TATA values, becoming unfair more and more, not at all expected when joining.Not updating to current times.Not open, very scared culture. No one questions anything.Union having a tight grip on management.Loyalty not rewarded.Performance not merited. Plenty of unfairness and politics in appraisals, ask any employee.Advice to Management:HR single-handedly destroying this once legendary organisation. If company seriously wants to move to the next gear, serious overhaul of HR at all levels needed as HR department is blatantly lying to their employees, misusing their power, mishandling valuable resources and wasting invaluable talent.

Productive, Good work life balance
Overall the work at TPDDL gives a great sense of satisfaction Of course it depends on the department you are working for Some departments are over burdened with work and people work in odd hours while in some departments and districts there is least pressure salary wise you will find disparity in the same rank only when you will be in the company A lot of CSR activities do happen for which Tata is known gives you inner satisfaction Management is cool and approachable to everyone particularly to those working at bottom level

Productive workplace. Lots to learn. However, project sites have zero work-life balance. Salary hikes are absolutely minimal. Long work hours with minimal leaves. Overall, its the same like other industries of this sector - monotonous.

Company takes care of employees very well .All necessary facilities have provided .company uses latest technologies which I have learnt here.Billing process of supplier & administration are also good and not forced to employees for this.Liasoning with bank & sales tax office are also available.
