It has all characteristics of a good product based company and work is good. Some odd projects may be challenging or monotonous, but overwhelming majority are good. Perfect for a good work life balance with more than a few leaning opportunities particularly in and around database technologies.

Good work life balance. Depends heavily on the database team. Late to moving into cloud customers. Overall if your preference is work life balance then you will find peace here. But if you are looking for career growth Database, ML and query optimizations teams are excellent teams to be in. If you are in teams apart from those team then good luck to you. No time restrictions with regards to the commute. No food and transport facilities.

Mediocrity at its best

I've been working with teradata for over a year, and there has never been a day where I've had to work for more than 4-5 hours. Everyone's laid back. Definitely not the best place for young/ambitious folks. Work life balance is great, there's also free snacks, coffee, and lot of indoor sports offerings. Certainly a great place, if you'd like a small paycheck and repetitive work. Definitely not the best in terms of tech stack, very slow adaption phase, recognition is easier since it's a small company.

good place to work

In this company the projects which are having 24/7 shifts are very hectic. Most of the projects are shift based. The salary hike is also good as compared to other companies and you can get lot of Quaterly, Monthly awards. Overall company is good to work.

Egocentric managers and unethical HRs

Entirely manager driven company. Everything happens as per manager’s will. Promotions are the biggest proof as it depends on your manager if he wants to promote you, not your performance! He will come up with a lame excuse to not promote. If you are lucky you will land under a good manager and your career will not suffer. HRs themselves are extremely unprofessional and unethical. There is no culture of receptive feedback. Employees can’t share their opinions/ experiences about managers/HRs freely. High politics prevail and horrible culture is there within.
