Competent and approachable people

I worked as a Digital Design Intern. Overall experience was good. People are approachable and helpful. You can discuss your problems and get suggestions. One downside is that the digital subsystems are less complex compared to other companies which are working in digital domain.

Good work life balance. Less room to grow.

It’s a very good company for specializing in one particular aspect. The work can get monotonous over time. There’s less flexibility in moving teams. Lot of focus on process which is good and bad at times.

Pros

Very inclusive, knowledgeable people

Cons

Less room for growth

Overloaded work. Bossing managers.

Have been working with TI for about a month (WFH) and I'm already working almost 15 hours a day. You will not have a peaceful weekend. If you are stuck with a problem, you have to deal with it and work overnight to fix it; no proper help and support from verticals. Bossing managers.

Cons

No work life balance.

True Fortune 500 Experience

Work day is very pleasant and not overburdened at all. I learn enterprise level software engineering process and business acumen. There is no micro management on employees. Workplace culture is very practical and broad minded. Hardest part of the job is to keep up with different time zones. Most enjoyable part is continuous challenges and learning.

Pros

Work from home allowance

Cons

Working across time zones

Good place to work

Worked here for 8 years under different organizations in the company. Good place to learn new stuff. However, during my tenure there had been massive re-orgs and the stability was a concern.

Not for Managed IT Services (contractors)

This is not at all a great place for Managed IT Services (contractors); Absolutely nonsense model of Embassy and zero work/life balance or flexibility

Excellent work culture and excellent skilled engineering process for manufacture domestic purpose IC's and all other S/W solutions. Texas instruments is the heaven for Electronics enthusiastics / Electronics passionated persons.
