Very busy and chaotic work, especially during the 'season' when the workload for everybody increases exponentially. Most of legacy Coke employees are real drag to the business, and lack competency and people-management and technical skills. They appear to have grown up the ladder through years of sycophancy and boot-licking. A very hierarchical organisation where promotions are extremely slow even for highly-rated associates. Once one spend more than 3-4 years here, he/she becomes completely unfit for the other companies as there are hardly any chances to hone up your functional competencies.
Decent Salaries for Management trainees and Leadership trainees, Good HR policies on paper, Awesome Brand Name of 'Coca-Cola'
Management hardly cares about retaining talent and is discriminatory against lateral-entry, culture of pleasing one's manager, archaic tools and processes, lot of politics at top and mid-level management positions, fewer growth opportunities, Saturdays working, no work-life balance during 'season'
It was a great learning experience of sales and marketing, product promotions, brand management, customer service and customer handling, dealer management in a one place. The best part is self improvisation in multiple way. Also learnt the team management from the seniors. All together it was a ultimate learning of professional life.
Round the clock working if required
Educating and sharpening yr leadership skills with critical support from the top management and initiating the will power to grow bigger outside the organization
Developing yr own interpersonal skills
trying to leave for better opportunities
It is a good place to work, as you learnt a lot from the organization. Periodic trainings are arranged atleast every 6 months. HR is very supportive. But still you had to deal with some seniors, not HR, some seniors are supportive, some are merely idiots, they want you to butter them and provide them. You don't need to work, if you are in their good books. Most are good, except the idiot one or two seniors
Good management and Job security
Overall learning experience is good. But job security is very poor now at coca cola. As company is creating culture of diversity, the impact is poor upper management, low talent acquisition and unemployment among male youngsters. Mostly male employees are lay off to adjust females.
This is a dream company for any individual especially in India to have an experience of a lifetime wherein you are given liberty to Act as an Owner in the Marketplace and in office which is backed up by the serious and equally enthusiastic Leadership Team. They give you all the necessary tools, trainings and management programs to help you achieve your dreams and targets. The President of the company in India is a gem of a person who does not carry any ego and has a positive attitude towards whatever he says which reflects on his actions as well.
Working very hard and timaly and seven day working session and internal audit and external audit every 15 days learning opportunity work place very enjoy full and management politics and bad behaviour
It was a good experience. Work environment was quite healthy and it gives you a large scale to play with your ideas
It was a good experience. Work environment was quite healthy and productive. It gives you a large scale to work on your ideas and play around it. But some stuff needs to be changed too like it sometimes need to accept different medium and ideas or may be trust the person who expertise lies in the respective field
