Stressful place to work

The Smart Cube functions like a great big family owned business. There's nepotism, work culture Is horrible. There is a lot of pretense in front of the CEO, that if one stays after hours at work, they automatically are perceived to be better workers.

Productive and fun place to work

I worked at Smart Cube for almost 3 years. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. Found great mentors, loved team activities, openness, the willingness of people to learn new stuff and opportunities to work on range of projects.

Productive work place with enthusiastic team

A typical day at work in my previous organization was extremely dynamic and full of challenges. Typically, on a Monday I started my day by kicking off a new case and brainstormed with the team to determine the key client objective and how we plan to approach executing it. Post that I was responsible for allocating tasks to every team member. In parallel I used to manage the communication with the required stakeholders. After mid-day I used to plan a team meeting to check the work progress and also start reviewing the work. This required extensive research and analysis from my end, along with thorough QC of the work done by my peers/subordinates. The day closed by sharing an update with the client and also planning for the next day. Overall the culture and environment was extremely youthful and fun. People loved what they did and hence, there was lot of passion.
