Learning and work-life balance

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Thoughtworks fosters a culture of continuous self-guided learning, providing the opportunity to collaborate with accomplished colleagues who are masters in their respective fields. This environment has been invaluable for personal and professional growth, with an abundance of knowledge and experience to tap into. While the learning experience is enriching, it's worth noting that there is room for improvement in terms of compensation. However, the valuable insights gained and the chance to work alongside such a talented team make it a rewarding place to grow and develop one's skills.

Very bad.

What is the best part of working at the company?Flexibility and freedom to work from anywhereWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?Very unprofessional. You can get fired anytime without a proper reason. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Worst. All the culture is only in talks. Professionals get fired anytime. Very poor business management. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Very productive work. However the data system in the org is very bad. They have to build their data and standardise it.

Good place to work if salary is not a major issue

Good place to work if salary is not a major issue. Salary is very low when compared to market standards and due to recent recession, there have been no hikes

Depends on the Team

Employee policies are degrading day to day.Growth depends on the team.Freshers are not treated well because the clients don't want to work with junior consultants

Good Projects and Employee Benefits

Good set of projects but those are short term in nature. Employee Benefits are good, but the app used to get reimbursement is a pain. Good place to learn and have fun.

Great workplace

Thoughtworks has challenging projects, smart people and great culture which makes working here fun. However at times you may feel lost here due to non existent hierarchy, you will have to rely on your team to guide you better.

Good

Work life balance is good. Tech stack is nice. Pair programming and other agile practices are followed. Training for freshers is also upto the mark. Most of the thoughtworkers are tech enthusiasts.

Good place to work. Has lot of benefits

The place is extremely good. It has a good culture. The interview process was good. The salary and compensation are very good. The level of expectation in tech knowledge may be too stressful to handle for people from companies like Infosys, Wipro etc.

Pros

Good package, Even if we say lower package they are honest with their range and gives more package than we expect.

Cons

No cons till now.

Very nice environment to work

Awesome place to work. Good work culture. Excellent food. One of the best companies to work for, in the IT services sector. People here deeply care about bringing out real value for their clients, without compromising on software excellence. Mediocrity is frowned upon.

Good place loosing it's charm

It was an enlightening experience after working at a highly hierarchical firm. But it was also more complicated to find the right people/processes to find the answers to career advancement.
